Placing your vessel in someone's hands can be a daunting experience. Before making that decision, have you considered the following:
-
Is the person I'm working with an active and valid Captain? Want to be sure?

Are you hiring a "Paper Captain" with a newly obtained license and little to no real helm time?
-
Is your Captain familiar with the run you're hiring them for or will your trip be a "Learning experience"?
-
Are solid references available?
Experience counts- I hold a USCG 200T license (4th issue) and have solid experience at the helm on vessels up to 120'. I have extensive experience navigating the waters of FL (East, West and Fl Keys), the entire Eastern seaboard, the Bahamas and the USVI/ BVI. My experience includes inboard, outboard and IPS propulsion. Whether you're looking for a Captain to take you out for a day trip, show you the islands like a local or deliver your yacht up or down the East Coast, I can help.
